Nuggets at Heat: Odds, betting lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Nuggets 118, Heat 105

Money line (ML)

The NUGGETS (-225) are big favorites in this game as the Heat have a large injury report heading into Wednesday night. Miami will be without SF Jimmy Butler and PG Avery Bradley and could be without several other key contributors.

Miami has now lost six of their last eight games as they continue to fight the injury bug. Don't expect much to change in this game and for the Nuggets to take care of business on the road.

Against the spread (ATS)

NUGGETS (-5.5) is the smart play here as the Heat won't be able to keep pace with Denver's offense. The Nuggets are currently No. 3 in the NBA in scoring offense, averaging nearly 117 points per game.

Meanwhile, Miami is averaging a full nine points less per game and its defense has taken a big hit, as well. Look for the Nuggets, who have now covered in five of their last six games, to win by double-digits on Wednesday night.

Over/Under (O/U)

OVER 219.5 appears to be the correct play here as the aforementioned Nuggets' offense has been lights out this season. They've scored 117 or more points in four straight games and should make it a fifth on Wednesday. As long as the Heat can approach 100 points in this game, the Over should hit with relative ease.
