Donovan Mitchell helped the Cleveland Cavaliers prevail in an epic seven-game clash against the Orlando Magic in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

Spider Mitchell poured in 89 points combined in the final two games of the Magic series, including a game-high 39 points in a 106-94 Game 7 win on May 5.

Mitchell and the No. 4 seed Cavs face another test in round 2 when they square off against the top-seeded Boston Celtics. Here’s how to watch and stream the series.

How to watch, stream Cavs vs. Celtics

The second-round series between the Cavs and Celtics will be broadcast on three different networks, according to the official NBA website.

Here’s the game-by-game schedule (Games 5-7 will only be played if necessary):

  • Game 1: Cavaliers at Celtics, Tuesday, May 7 (7 p.m. ET on TNT)
  • Game 2: Cavaliers at Celtics, Thursday, May 9 (7 p.m. on ESPN)
  • Game 3: Celtics at Cavaliers, Saturday, May 11 (8:30 p.m. on ABC)
  • Game 4: Celtics at Cavaliers, Monday, May 13 (7 p.m. on TNT)
  • Game 5: Cavaliers at Celtics, Wednesday, May 15 (TBD on TNT)
  • Game 6: Celtics at Cavaliers, Friday, May 17 (TBD on ESPN)
  • Game 7: Cavaliers at Celtics, Sunday, May 19 (TBD time and network)

The winner of the series will face either the No. 2 seed New York Knicks or No. 6 Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Fans hoping to stream Cavs-Celtics can do so through Sling TV, according to Yahoo. Fans who subscribe to NBA League Pass can stream postseason games through the NBA app, according to the league’s website.

Cleveland vs. Boston season series 2023-24

The Cavs, who finished with a 48-34 record in the regular season, went 1-2 against the Celtics (64-18) this season.

They dropped back-to-back games in Boston in December — 120-113 on Dec. 12 and 116-107 on Dec. 14 — before earning a 105-104 win against the Celtics in Cleveland on March 5. That was the night the Cavs honored homegrown NFL stars Jason and Travis Kelce with bobbleheads.

The Celtics are -1600 favorites to win the series in NBA Playoff odds provided by FanDuel Sportsbook. The Cavaliers are +820.

The Cavaliers are +1700 to take the series in six games, +2600 to win in seven, +4700 to win in five and +10000 to sweep Boston.

Conversely, Boston has shorter odds to win the series. The Celtics are +175 to win in five games, +185 to sweep, +470 to win in six  and +550 to win in seven games.

Boston vs. Cleveland Game 1 odds

The Cavs have +425 odds to win Game 1 against the Celtics on Tuesday, according to USA TODAY’s SportsbookWire

Boston is an 11-point favorite in the series opener, and the over/under total is 208.5.
